Inspired by the life and work of Camille Claudel and Auguste Rodin, ‘In Her Hands’ reflects on the relationship between the two French sculptors. Starring Russian Ballerina Natalia Osipova (The Royal Ballet) and British Ballet Star Matthew Ball (The Royal Ballet), it is a glimpse into the mind and heart of a woman challenged by the fragility of her own psyche.
A collaboration with ‘Ballet Shorts’, In Her Hands screened alongside Romeo & Juliet: Beyond Words at San Francisco Dance Film Festival in 2019. It also won awards at the Utah Dance Film Festival 2020 : 2nd place for Outstanding Director and 2nd place for Outstanding Costume Design.
